Prison Camp

after studying the communist prisoner camp, it can be related to a simple carrot stick approach in an organization, where conditions are physically not as extreme as in a prison camp, but mentally it is the same approach to change the belief system of a person to what is desired of them, by the organization and not on what a person wants. If you follow the rules laid down you get rewarded and if you disrupt or try to have it your own way you get punished in all sorts of ways by your supervisor or manager like information blackout, "everyone in the organization would know but you would not" you get constant feed back about what you need to do, how you need to change your behavior to meet the company's policies, and funny thing is everyone is tied down in a long chain of command and supervision and one's at the bottom think the one's above have more freedom or are better but in fact more you rise in chain of command more compliance is expected from you, you are made more & more responsible for more & more number of things and promotion happens gradually to make sure no unwanted element gets to the position where he is able to shake things up.

Same thing is indoctrinated from the school up. If you study and follow the syllabus you get good grades and if you don't you fail. In college the reward for following the university's structure is a degree. If you don't follow the rules, then you don't get a degree and therefore whether one likes it or not one has to follow the rules, like be on time, be punctual, no autonomy and even before one realizes he or she is in a race, and a point comes in life, when you look back and see what all you have gained and at what cost. Such a precious life and time is wasted for learning the rules for accumulation of wealth, for prosperity, for growth so on & so forth and what are we growing into? into slavery, into submission, into illness, into debt, etc. and not into freedom or prosperity or liberation but rather we are directly heading into opposite direction and we have brought this on our selves because of the choices we made, and we have to reap the product of our own doings. Like if we promote a system that is corrupt and not just & if we don't stand against it, we will be the one's who will suffer. We have ourselves became the protector of our group and if someone disagrees he is alienated and is out of the group, he is laughed on and looked down upon, the person becomes an out caste and no one wants to be an outcast so its better to follow what others are doing or saying and operate according to rules which are not your, and which you wouldn't like to endorse at the first place, but have to because of carrot stick delima, and everyone's likes to get rewarded and not punished.

This is where the understanding of the delusion of self and ego comes into play and I really enjoyed the book by ECKHART TOLLE      "A New Earth"     Awakening To Your Life's Purpose.

whoever reads it will be greatly benefited by it.
