Strike

Strike is finally over but has left so many unanswered questions and no one seems to have any idea as how course will be covered from this point on, in just two weeks. Hope we don't get over burdened. It was certain that semester will be canceled thankfully it isn't getting canceled as it would have added more complications as to what next appropriate step will be. Another thing is we could not enjoy the time off because of the uncertainty of the date as to when will it get over and due to worry of loosing a semester. By the end of this month I would come to know whether to be happy or sad because of strike, as I would have given exams or whatever is decided and would come to know how well I have done.

Anyways challenges are always exciting and it reminded me that there are no guarantees in this world. One should be ready to expect any changes at any time. Surprises are what makes this life exciting. been  a good experience, I have enjoyed and I am ready to go back to class. feels good.

life has surprises at every turn, every time a person is in an unexpected situation there are no clear roads or rules to follow, which way should a person head? there is no clear answer, as every single decision has different ending none of which has been contemplated before, and might not be what a person might be expecting... like recent strike, some find it as a blessing, time to complete work, assignments, others just wants to complete their course and has nothing to do with the problems being faced by both parties, the excuse given by some which I find worst of all is, I have paid so they should teach, as if money is answer, solution or justification for everything... wonder where did we loose humanity, in this business world...

any ways what is more surprising is the fact that hardly any one ready to accept the fact that there might be life threatening incidences but everyone simply chooses to ignore that as if that alone is going to make things correct or okay... guess even common sense has left this planet long time back... well looks like people have stopped caring, caring about life, about things that matter. as long as their routine is not disturbed no one bothers, well it does not change the law of nature, that what goes around comes around... if a person ignores, person himself will be ignored, there are no exception to this rule, we are judged by the decision we make... its no surprise as even I do forget this very often and live as if there are no consequences of most of things that I do, but yes I don't wonder why me, or what did I do wrong if things goes wrong in other words not as planned...

each and every second of what we are doing, of what we are thinking is accounted for and on what ever thing we might have spent our time on be it thought or action, is taken into account and we will be judged on that basis, its very fair and there is no corruption in that system, so people should start reflecting on what they are thinking or doing as there is no margin of error in that system and there is no escaping from it as well...

will reflect on it more later... :)

Feeling Lone....

I feel so lone,

Wish there was a place where routine was gone,

Where I would be free and could wonder like a soul forlorn,

Nothing to worry and nothing to hang on,

Just me and everything to loose and nothing to pass on,

Where is the freedom to run away, from so called responsibilities and where I could act like a thorn,

Not to hurt but to protect the flower that is about to be born,

To leave the things that don't interest me and to do as I want,

World wouldn't let me keep things simple, if I had to excel in it, I will have to flaunt,

The skills which I have and qualities inborn,

Would like to avoid things, the memories of which will haunt,

Nothing helps, because I feel lone!!!

Learning

There are so many things from where people can learn. one can learn only by paying attention.  If someone is actually passionate about learning, then this life span is not enough to learn about everything. Moreover most of the studies are so shallow that their validity is for limited period of time. Even the hard core scientific facts which holds true now, might not be true in the future. As we grow & make development, old facts which people holds to be as absolute truth, turns out to be something else. More deeper and meaningful a thing is more truthful and valid that thing will be. If someone has grown wise, after all these years of education, should know that normally things cannot be taken at their face value. Things we see is not what it seems to be, if you simply go a bit deeper, its meaning changes. There are so many layers of facts and each layer holds true to itself but combined their entire meaning changes. Like body, there are so many different layers, on top there is skin, go a bit deep there will be nerves, veins & blood, still deeper there will be muscles, than organs & other stuff still deeper skeleton, break them down to cells which are in itself a complex self surviving body, still deeper, molecules, still deeper atoms, still deeper neutrons, electrons & protons, still deeper more finer particles, until we can no longer divide them with current level of technology and understanding. Then go into bigger layers there are nations, still bigger continents, still bigger planets, even bigger solar systems, even bigger galaxies, and endless nebula, there is no end to it, from bigger view point, we ourselves will be like an invisible atom in the entire creation. There is no end in either direction, and what we are at current level, is itself not stable & permanent and keeps changing. But we take it as ultimate truth in itself, that this physique is sole purpose of our creation, and we live our life on a very superficial level. we don't even know the precious gem that is within and waste such a precious life at the value of scrap. As once a person dies all that is left is scrap, and only thing we cared about was scrap and never recognized the value of light within but lived our life in darkness, in ignorance.

Everything is created in time & time in itself is ever changing. Back on the superficial level, it gets very difficult to decide which information to hold in our head, for what duration of time and when to let it go, and fill in new information. We use our current (Present) time to hold information which we are going to use in future (i.e. after Post-Graduation), but question is, for what amount of time, will that information, be relevant. If we have knowledge, we can influence others. That is how business operates (by Influencing people), that is how sales occur (by influencing customers), that is how politics is carried out (by influencing citizens), that is how communities are formed or groups are made, that is how relationships are formed(by influencing partner). Our believe system is formed according to the knowledge which we hold to be as truth, and we act accordingly, and our entire life goes as in understanding other peoples believes, the amount of knowledge they have and the ways to influence or manipulate or change others believe as per our needs.

Education promises to give us knowledge, superficial knowledge, or shallow knowledge, which has lost its taste or appeal for the most part. It does not have all the answers, It tells us about things or companies or environment that will be completely different in next few years, Science has explanations for things that might be useful for next few years, or about past, past for me will be before I gained consciousness, and amount of time, for which, I have consciousness is 60 or 70 or 80 years. In short education tells us things that has happened, is happening, might or will happen in future, by providing relevant information. First step of any educational institution who want its students to learn, should be to teach a student how to put aside one's believes and thoughts or how to empty one's head so that new information can be filled in it. One will be ready to do that if one trusts the person who is teaching (that the teacher will not mislead). Any sort of learning includes faith, faith in the fact that what you are learning is important and useful for achieving desired objectives. One has to be very careful in putting his faith, as if a person puts his faith in someone who is blind, person will himself end up being blind or having a skewed or narrow vision of world.

We get influenced by everything, children can be influenced easily as they don't have any strong belief system, as we grow fewer and fewer things influence us, as we have developed a belief system, based on our past experience. Therefore new ways have to be found to influence a person. Emotions plays such an important role in influencing others, that the person who is not conscious of the self, will always be on a roller coaster of emotions.

And I not sure whether there are chemicals behind triggering emotions through our brain or something else. Some people says its your thoughts that makes you happy or sad as according to our thoughts, brains triggers chemicals that alter our moods. But what triggers thoughts or ideas in first place, I have no idea, they just come out of nowhere into our conscious mind and fills our head continuously with all sorts of thoughts most of the time, completely grasping our attention in those thoughts. Then there is subconscious mind of which people were not aware until recently, maybe there is unconscious mind or soul or something as well of which no one is aware of and if reached can open altogether a different level of consciousness for a person, like that of saints or prophets. Least one can do is to be conscious of one's thoughts, of the self and shouldn't get lost in thoughts and get drifted away either in past or future. To learn one has to be present where the information is provided, not just physically but consciously (or attentively) as well, because it is only by paying attention one can learn. Without paying attention just physical presence is completely useless.

First thing which marketing does is grabbing the attention, and then advertisement is designed so effectively that people become a part of the message being delivered (like someone completely immersed in a movie) so that it triggers an emotion of passion, love, care, innocence, beauty, elegance, and so on, which has nothing to with the product, just that when you saw something different an emotion was attached with it, to distinguish it & If someone can do that, then even if product goes from the market, it will still live inside the minds of people. (product or object-emotions-will then trigger an action-sales- recycles money-part of the population becomes happy paying-another part of population becomes happy receiving-company become happy paying and receiving-this is what constitutes economies-just emotional manipulation-but it gets complicated because we include or try to accommodate others beliefs or objects of manipulation, in this system, to keep everyone happy-all this for happiness but the best part is even after doing this still people are not happy, still people don't realize something is wrong in the way we live life, and way we guide others to live life)

I hope people understands and realizes the self and then help others to live a more fulfilling life, and not just materialistic life, to help them realize who they are, what they are, the significance of things they do. We have a limited life, limited attention, and look at the things, we pay attention to. Consciously we never grow. We are born ignorant, like a child & as we grow, we become like a spoiled or rouge child (maybe cunning child) body grows but from within we don't. We still need toys to entertain us to keep us happy. Only difference is that, as we grow our toys become big, like when we are small we play with small cars but when we grow we need a big cars to play with, when we are small we have small fights and small ego (1 minute we will fight so fiercely and next we will become best friends) , and when we grow we have big fights and big ego,(we have big fights like wars, and even for a small fight or even if someone says something which we don't like, we don't even go and look at the face of the person(big ego)), we hardly have any wants when we were small, but as we grow our wants grow. And the negative things never stops growing and we peruse them at the cost of our integrity, honesty, goodness, happiness, and then wonder why we are not happy. As you sow so shall you reap, we know we have ourselves to blame, but because we avoid facing ourselves, we find reasons or logic to rationalize it, we look outside for faults to find something to place the blame on, like maybe there is someone else to be blamed for our unhappiness.

We never Learn, think wisely.....

Prison Camp

after studying the communist prisoner camp, it can be related to a simple carrot stick approach in an organization, where conditions are physically not as extreme as in a prison camp, but mentally it is the same approach to change the belief system of a person to what is desired of them, by the organization and not on what a person wants. If you follow the rules laid down you get rewarded and if you disrupt or try to have it your own way you get punished in all sorts of ways by your supervisor or manager like information blackout, "everyone in the organization would know but you would not" you get constant feed back about what you need to do, how you need to change your behavior to meet the company's policies, and funny thing is everyone is tied down in a long chain of command and supervision and one's at the bottom think the one's above have more freedom or are better but in fact more you rise in chain of command more compliance is expected from you, you are made more & more responsible for more & more number of things and promotion happens gradually to make sure no unwanted element gets to the position where he is able to shake things up.

Same thing is indoctrinated from the school up. If you study and follow the syllabus you get good grades and if you don't you fail. In college the reward for following the university's structure is a degree. If you don't follow the rules, then you don't get a degree and therefore whether one likes it or not one has to follow the rules, like be on time, be punctual, no autonomy and even before one realizes he or she is in a race, and a point comes in life, when you look back and see what all you have gained and at what cost. Such a precious life and time is wasted for learning the rules for accumulation of wealth, for prosperity, for growth so on & so forth and what are we growing into? into slavery, into submission, into illness, into debt, etc. and not into freedom or prosperity or liberation but rather we are directly heading into opposite direction and we have brought this on our selves because of the choices we made, and we have to reap the product of our own doings. Like if we promote a system that is corrupt and not just & if we don't stand against it, we will be the one's who will suffer. We have ourselves became the protector of our group and if someone disagrees he is alienated and is out of the group, he is laughed on and looked down upon, the person becomes an out caste and no one wants to be an outcast so its better to follow what others are doing or saying and operate according to rules which are not your, and which you wouldn't like to endorse at the first place, but have to because of carrot stick delima, and everyone's likes to get rewarded and not punished.

This is where the understanding of the delusion of self and ego comes into play and I really enjoyed the book by ECKHART TOLLE      "A New Earth"     Awakening To Your Life's Purpose.

whoever reads it will be greatly benefited by it.

Deadlines, Achievements, Worries

Look around yourself and try finding someone who is not worried. To be honest everyone worries. On the entire planet, there will hardly be anyone, if at all, rarest of the rare person, who will not be worried. Otherwise generally speaking everyone is worried. someone will be worried about getting hired, other will be worried about hiring someone, from owners of the corporations to employees to governments to citizens, richest of the richest to poorest of the poor, most intelligent to the dumbest of the dumb, rarest of the beauty to strongest of the men, everyone is worried about something or the other.

As there are so many worries inside us, instinctively our mind looks outside, for what? distractions. Distractions to keep our minds away from all the worries. As other things keeps our mind engaged we forget about our worries, but the respite is temporary. The minute we are own our own, worries seeps in, for most people, even while working, worries is a constant companion.

One of the most difficult things to do is to sit with oneself, alone. We constantly need someone  be it friends, girlfriend, wife, kids, family etc. to be with us, if there is no one then we will need TV or music or laptops or computers if nothing else books, magazines or paper etc. to read. Try asking some one to sit by himself, within few minutes or seconds he/she will start feeling uncomfortable, and would want to run away or escape. The reason being, we have tons of worries, and when we are by our self, we become conscious of our worries. Therefore, we constantly need distractions.

broadly worries can be divided into two things or we can say, worries are of two types. first type of worry is "this should happen, it shouldn't happen, that it does not happen" and second "this should not happen, it shouldn't happen that, it happens"

More the worries, more the stress level. Stress and worries gives rise to mental problems, people get depressed. The easy way to get an idea of rise in number of worries is to, look at the rising number of people getting depressed or depression related disorders. The entire quest of our lives lies outside as we avoid looking inside, the results of such quests is rising comfort level, i.e. advancements in modern science. The person earning 100$ a month is worried and someone earning million dollars a month is also worried. The reason for our life's quest was to make our life peaceful, happy & joyous journey. But even after working our entire lives to collect those comfort do we actually get to enjoy peace, contentment, and happiness.

Ask the richest of the richest, whether he is happy and satisfied and void of worries. You will notice that more riches the person has, more worried he will be. The point being, we know that, more rich and powerful a person will be more worried he will be, does this knowledge, mean something to us. To be honest it does not, because no one is ready to realize and accept this fact. Our hunger is inside but we look for solutions outside,As if more or better quality of something will fill the hunger inside. We constantly try to improve, invent, build more so that we can have more, but still the want will be standing at its original place, will be more intense, because whatever has been accomplished so far is not enough, still something is missing.

So should we stop running after money? That would mean, we won't have better houses, better cars, better connectivity, better luxury. Our reputation is on stake, our own worth in our own eyes and in the eyes of the others is at stake. In other words our ego is at stake, moving out will mean killing our ego, and that is like killing the self. What would we be, its scary to even think about.

One has to turn his/her quest in. The real battles are fought inside. We have to be conscious or aware about worries and think what is it that he/she is worried about. Whatever we have accomplished so far on the outside will not save us in the end. Everything that we thought was ours , will no longer be with us or ours. With time everything will end. What difference will it make in the end even if things does not turn out as we wanted. Will we become any lesser if no one knows about us or any bigger is everyone knows about us?  Once we learn to see through the illusion of our wants or worries, we will become happy where ever we stand no matter what our status or condition i.e. being happy without any worries. In other words not worrying about getting sick or getting old or dying. At all time, in all situations, to accept everything that happens, without any complains. In other words do things with honest heart and accept everything that life gives us, without worrying whether it is as we wanted or whether it is not as we wanted (always remember everything has its own life cycle, each and everything that is outside will end, including the body. Everything that grows in size, will reach its peak and then shrink and finally die, be it human body be it sun or moon or be it business or corporations be it kingdoms or governments be it small group like a family to a nation be it civilizations or tribes, none of outside things are forever). Humble down, don't be sacred of anything (you should not be afraid of other and neither should others be afraid of you), stop yourself from getting tempted (the minute you get tempted for more, you will be trapped in desires and wants and worries) , be honest & just in everything you do (don't let ego trap you in thought that "oh I m honest and Just, I am better than others" it will corrupt you). When you will let go of your grudges or complains and take your fight inside and start winning, you will start to find peace and joy and you will always be happy without the need of the company of others. i.e. in all situations.

(NOTE: I was listening to "Gyani Sant Maskeen Singh Ji's" explanation of "Shri Guru Granth Sahib" in his simple words and got really good insight into "worries" it was in 'Punjabi' so translated it into 'English' with limited skills that I have, and added some few of my own things. "Shri Guru Granth Sahib" is like a never ending treasure, wish I had the skills to understand it completely, would have been wonderful. Anyways when ever I will find something new will keep it posted

Interesting Insights Into Whole New Dimension Of Interactive Internet

This video actually shows that people have worked around the prevailing system and are discovering the whole new dimension of doing things that is lot more interactive and sensible. It will take more time for people to find ways to contribute positively to the medium which is available to almost everyone.

people are willing to share more and more information with others for free just to contribute to the overall benefits of all.One of the best example of which is Linux Vs Microsoft as Linux is free open source operating system available to everyone and is far better and reliable than Microsoft. Even after spending millions of dollars on R&D Microsoft is clumsy and expensive and always ends up crashing sooner or later as has been my experience and of almost everyone that I know who has used Microsoft. The best part Linux is, there is no governing body or corporation but group of programmers around the world, who sit and help each other out if there is a bug or a problem or for developing new application for the software.

This video will talk about that and lot more about the way things are being conducted in an entire new fashion.

What could happen if we don't become responsible people

If people stop taking responsibility and just keep on doing things, without realizing or even after realizing that, what one is doing is effecting others and after doing our job, if we shrug our shoulder, that it is not our responsibility or we have nothing to do with it, will surely lead to a world where, we will, our self be responsible for our downfall, just like virus or cancer cell does not realize that its unsatisfiable desire to grow without any check or responsibility will ultimately lead to its own death.

there is link to a video which I find is from a person who is lot more aware about the result of ignoring the effects of our individual actions.

first few weeks

so many things have changed in such short, from time zones to climate to experience to people that it is hard to imagine it all happened in just 20 days. I have learned so many things so quickly, and that to without any effort, that it gives unrealistic touch to everything, while from within nothing has changed, there is same stillness and understanding of things. The way people interact, and interpret things, differs drastically depending on the maturity or understanding of the self.

People are eager to learn and move up in life, trying to put things in perceptive, trying to make sense of things, trying to find their place in this world, while some are here just for fun, not bothered about what they can learn from this environment as if they have found whatever they were looking and are now just passing there time.

wow change is inevitable, with time everything changes, and so would be everyone's understanding, behavior, along with my perspective and consciousness, lets see what time has in store for me, for everyone.
